Admission Update

Admission to MBE is highly competitive and selective. The idea is to attract and develop people who want to lead, own, create and transform substantial business enterprises. Students from varying backgrounds like Arts, Applied Sciences, Engineering, Economics, Commerce and Medicine provide a healthy mix and a competitively interactive atmosphere for the batch.


 
 

Eligibility Condition:

● Graduates (Hons. /Pass/Professional Course) and Post Graduates in any discipline with at     least 50% (at least 45% for SC/ST) marks from the University of Delhi or any other University    recognized as equivalent thereto, can appear for the MBE Entrance Test.

● Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s Degree examination in 2008 can    also apply. If selected, their admission to the course will be provisional, subject to their    obtaining qualifying marks as specified above. If the candidate is selected and he/she fails     to secure the qualifying marks of 50% marks in the aggregate at the Bachelors level,
    his/her admission will stand cancelled.

 
 



● No student will be qualified for admission to the M.B.E course unless he/she is at least 20 years of age before October1, 2008.    Relaxation of age limit up to a maximum period of one year, on the basis of individual merits, may be made by the Vice-Chancellor.

Intake:


The intake of the course is 55 students with 22.5% seats reserved for SC/ST candidates and 3% seats reserved for physically challenged candidates.


Selection Procedure:

● Eligible Candidates are called for an All India Entrance Test.
● The Student is tested on Mathematical Comprehension, Logical Resoning, Awareness of Indian Economy & Business and English.
● Short Listed Candidates are called for a Group Discussion, Personality Test and Personal Interview.
● Final List of Candidates Selected to the Programme will be announced after conducting all the Interviews.

Test Centres: Kolkata, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Lucknow, Jaipur and Delhi.
